Even standing still and just moving the mouse around the UI causes a 5-10 FPS drop compared to when you leave the mouse stationary. It’ll hit maybe 30-35 FPS on the laptop preset (which looks awful), which would be acceptable except for how the instant you begin moving or turning the camera, it becomes extremely stuttery and choppy, to the point of near unplayability IMO. I have 2017 MBP 15” with the max spec CPU and GPU and the performance is abysmal. I did, because I vastly prefer macOS for day to day computer use and FFXIV is my most played game so I was willing to put up with a little performance degradation in exchange for convenience, but believe me when I say that it is not worth it. I'm not sure if that's because of the game or Windows 10. I got used to playing WoW with it and it was fine for when I'm sitting somewhere that doesn't have a place to put a mouse, but the clicks and drags just don't seem to behave properly. One other thing, the trackpad clicking seems VERY wonky. Any help with settings would be greatly appreciated. The best results have come from playing with the resolution, but going lower than 1600x1000 (or something around there) makes the game look pretty poor. Was hoping I could get some help from someone a bit more in-the-know about getting this working well.

I played around a bit with the settings trying to maximize performance but it's still not running great. So far I've had very poor performance, about 10-20 fps in most cases) despite most people saying they are running great (around 40+ on medium to low settings). Everything I've read has recommended installing Windows using Bootcamp which is what I did and installed the game.
